Biography:

Judge Marjorie Masselot (France) has been serving as a Presiding Judge at the Colmar First Instance Criminal Court since 2019, where she is dealing with organised crime and sexual crimes. Since 2023, Judge Masselot has been serving as a seconded Judge in the Ministry of Justice of France as a Deputy Head of the Office for Institutional and Diplomatic Affairs at the Delegation for European and International Affairs. From 2017 to 2019, Judge Masselot served as a prosecutor at the Criminal Court of Verdun. Prior to that, Judge Masselot served in various legal officer positions at the War Crimes Chamber of the State Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2006 to 2008, at the United Nations Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda from 2008 to 2009 and at the International Criminal Court from 2009 to 2015. Judge Masselot holds three post-graduated Master degrees in Law from the Law University of Aix-en-Provence and the University of Strasbourg. She has further published and lectured in the field of international criminal law.
