The Appointing Authority, General Giovanni Barbano, reappointed Judge Ekaterina Trendafilova as President of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers (KSC) for a term of four years effective 16 December 2024. President Trendafilova’s current term of office is set to expire on 15 December 2024.
President Trendafilova stated that she “appreciates the confidence that continues to be placed in her” and “is confident that the KSC will continue to undertake its proceedings in an expeditious, fair and efficient manner, as prescribed by the court’s legal framework”. President Trendafilova expressed her sincere gratitude to the Judges of the KSC, the Registrar, and to all the staff of the Court, who tirelessly work toward the fulfilment of the KSC’s mandate with unwavering professionalism and dedication.
