Thaçi et al. (administration of justice): deadline for final trial briefs extended

On 15 June 2026, Single Trial Judge Christopher Gosnell granted a request by the Fazliu Defence for an extension of the deadline to file final trial briefs, previously set for 19 June 2026. Having found good cause for this relatively short extension, Judge Gosnell informed the parties that they are to be prepared to file their final trial briefs by Friday, 3 July 2026.

The Judge further informed that, if the pending interlocutory appeal concerning witness Koen Herlaar allows the evidentiary proceedings to be closed immediately, the parties will be expected to file their final trial briefs on the third working day following notification of the Court of Appeals Panel’s decision.
