President Assigns Trial Panel II to Gucati & Haradinaj Case

On 15 July 2021, President Ekaterina Trendafilova assigned Judges Charles Smith III, Christoph Barthe, Guénaël Mettraux and Fergal Gaynor (reserve) to Trial Panel II. The assignment follows the notification by the Pre-Trial Judge that the complete case file in the case of the Specialist Prosecutor v. Hysni Gucati and Nasim Haradinaj (KSC-BC-2020-07) will be ready for transmission to a trial panel on 16 July 2021.

In accordance with Rules 116 and 117 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence, upon receipt of the case file, the Trial Panel shall promptly hold a trial preparation conference with the parties, after which it shall set a time limit for any motions to be filed by them prior to the opening of the trial.
