Mustafa trial: Panel sets out a calendar for the next procedural steps

Trial Panel I issued its second decision on the conduct of the proceedings in the Mustafa trial, according to which the target date for the closing of the SPO case is set for 4 February, following the testimony of the SPO’s last witness W04849. Should the Defence wish to present a case, it shall file, by 11 February 2022, its lists of witnesses and exhibits.The Victims’ Counsel shall file within the same deadline a list of proposed (expert) witnesses to be called by the Panel, pursuant to Rule 114(5). The decision further states that the Defence preparation conference and the Victim’s status conference will be jointly convened on 17 February 2022, with 18 February, as a reserve day.
