P. Shala: latest referral to Constitutional Court made public

On 9 June 2026, Pjetër Shala filed a public redacted version of his Referral to the Constitutional Court, alleging violations of his fundamental rights following the Supreme Court decision of 9 March 2026.

As previously announced, on 25 March 2026, the President of the KSC assigned a Constitutional Court Panel. The Panel subsequently extended the deadline for filing the Referral until 1 June 2026, when it was submitted confidentially. On 5 June 2026, the Panel ordered the Defence to file a public redacted version by 9 June 2026.
