Elmedina Ballazhi is the next Gucati’s Defence witness. She worked as a journalist for “Arbresh.info” outlet during the relevant period.  

The second witness for the Gucati Defence is Taibe Miftari, who worked for  the KLA War Veterans’ Association in 2020.

Another KSC weekly press briefing will take place on Thursday, 9 December, at 14:30. During this briefing, the KSC Spokespersons will provide a short update on the latest developments in the judicial proceedings before the KSC, as well as on other public activities of the Court. Journalists will have the opportunity to ask questions. Pre-registration is required to attend each briefing. To pre-register, please send an email with name and affiliation to [email protected]. The SPO resumes the cross- examination of witness Hysni Gucati.

Due to connectivity issues related to the video-link between the courtroom and the KSC Detention unit, the hearing today adjourned earlier than scheduled. The trial will resume, as scheduled, tomorrow morning at 09:30.

The accused Gucati resumes his testimony in the Gucati & Haradinaj trial. He is currently being cross-examined by the SPO.

The Defence of Hysni Gucati begins its presentation of evidence today. Its first witness is the accused Gucati.

Hysni Gucati’s Defence completed its opening statement. The hearing is adjourned for today and the trial will resume on Monday, 6 December, with the testimony of the first Gucati Defence witness (the accused Gucati).
