Following the decision of the Court of Appeals Panel on 1 October, the Pre-Trial Judge in the Thaci et al. case ordered the Kosovo police to provide information about its authority and capability to, inter alia, enforce conditions attaching to the potential interim release of the accused within two weeks of notification of the Albanian translation of this Order. Specialist Prosecutor's Office (SPO) completed its opening statement in the trial against Gucati & Haradinaj. The hearing is adjourned for today and the trial will resume on 18 October at 09:30 with the testimony of the first SPO witness.

The trial against Salih Mustafa is adjourned for the week and the session, scheduled for tomorrow (6 October), is cancelled. The trial will resume on Tuesday, 12 October, at 09:30.
