    Decision confirming the indictment against Thaçi et al. made public

    On 30 November 2020, a Pre-Trial Judge of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers has made public the decision confirming the indictment against Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi.

    Constitutional Chamber judgment

    On 26 November 2020, the Specialist Chamber of the Constitutional Court decided that the constitutional amendments, proposed by the then- President of Kosovo on 24 August 2020 and subsequently referred to the KSC by the President of the Kosovo Assembly, diminish the rights and freedoms guaranteed by Chapter II of the Constitution.     Rexhep Selimi pleads not guilty

    The last accused in Thaci et al. case, Rexhep Selimi, also pleaded not guilty to all counts of the indictment at his initial appearance before Pre-Trial Judge Guillou today. As per Rule 95 of the KSC Rules of Procedure and Evidence, the Pre-Trial Judge will proceed with the preparation of the case for trial.
