As indicated during the status conference on 1 October, which we informed about here, the SPO announced today, 1 November, that it will no longer rely upon the evidence of twelve witnesses. Additionally, the SPO will present the statements of eight witnesses in written form instead of live testimony in court. The SPO notice can be seen here.

On 30 October 2024, the Court of the Appeals Panel granted in part a request by P. Shala Defence for an extension of the time limit and authorised it to file its appeal brief by 25 November 2024. More details in the decision.

Following the completion of Nuredin Ibishi’s testimony, the trial in the Thaçi et al. case has adjourned for the day and the week. The trial will resume on Monday, 4 November 2024, at 09:00.

Following the completion of Haxhi Mazreku’s testimony, the testimony of the previous (97th) SPO witness, Nuredin Ibishi, has resumed this morning in the Thaçi et al trial.

The testimony of SPO 102nd witness resumed this morning.

Following the completion of W04798’s testimony, the SPO called Haxhi Mazreku as its next witness today. 

Another KSC weekly press briefing will take place on Thursday, 31 October, at 14:30. During this briefing, the KSC Spokespersons will provide a short update on the latest developments in the judicial proceedings before the KSC, as well as on other public activities of the Court.
