Here is the transcript of today's KSC Weekly Press Briefing.

This was the last hearing this week and the trial will resume on Monday, 16 October, at 09:00.

The testimony of the SPO witness W04769 resumed this morning in the Thaçi et al. trial. He is now cross-examined by the Defence of Kadri Veseli. As was the case with the yesterday’s direct examination by the SPO, the reminder of this witness’ testimony is expected to take place in private session.

Another KSC weekly press briefing will take place on Thursday, 12 October, at 14:30. Today’s hearing in the case of Thaçi et al. is adjourned. This trial will resume tomorrow, 12 October at 09:00 and, as earlier announced, it will last until 13:00.

The testimony of the 30th SPO witness in the Thaçi et al. trial has just commenced. This is protected witness W04769. According to the summary read in court, the witness is a former KLA member whose testimony will, among other things, be related to the KLA command structure in Albania and the Pashtrik/Paštrik zone. 

At the beginning of his testimony this morning, the SPO’s 29th witness W04577 requested to consult with his duty counsel, who later addressed the court in private session. Subsequently, the Panel informed the duty counsel about the possibility of sanctions pursuant to Rule 141(6) of the Rules and Article 42(7) and (8) of the Law. The Panel granted in part the witness’ request for adjournment and ordered that the testimony of witness W04577 will continue on Monday, 16 October. Today’s hearing will resume with the testimony of another SPO witness.

Following the completion of the testimony of witness Nebojša Radošević, the SPO in the Thaçi et al. trial has called its 29th witness this afternoon. This is protected witness W04577, whose testimony only commenced, after which the hearing went into private session and then adjourned for today. The trial will resume tomorrow, 11 October at 09:00, when the testimony of the same witness is expected to resume.

The testimony of the 28th SPO witness Nebojša Radošević resumed this morning in the Thaçi et al. trial. He is still being cross-examined by the Defence of Hashim Thaçi.
