Following the completion of W04798’s testimony, the SPO called Haxhi Mazreku as its next witness today. 

Another KSC weekly press briefing will take place on Thursday, 31 October, at 14:30. During this briefing, the KSC Spokespersons will provide a short update on the latest developments in the judicial proceedings before the KSC, as well as on other public activities of the Court. After witness WO4809 finished testifying, the SPO called its next witness this morning. The witness is testifying via video link, under the pseudonym W04798.

The testimony of SPO 100th witness resumed this morning.

The Prosecution in the Thaçi et al. trial called its next witness this afternoon, the 100th witness in court to date. This witness, with the pseudonym W04809, is testifying via video-link. 

The testimony of SPO 99th witness resumed this morning.

Following the completion of Fatmir Sopi’s testimony, the SPO called witness W04854.

New SPO witness is Fatmir Sopi, whose testimony commenced this morning.  As per the SPO summary in court, Sopi was a KLA member involved in the organization of KLA structures in Gollak region within the Llap operational zone, and was instrumental in the creation of the 153rd Brigade.  Mr. Sopi will testify about the creation, structure, training, and operations of the Brigade 153.

On 24 October 2024, Trial Panel I announced that the trial in the case of Januzi, Bahtijari, and H. Shala will commence on 14 November 2024 at 09:30. On this date, and potentially the following day, the SPO and the Defence teams for Januzi and H. Shala will present their opening statements, while Bahtijari's Defence has indicated a preference to deliver theirs after the SPO case concludes.

The SPO presentation of evidence will commence on Monday, 9 December, at 09:30.

The trial in the Thaçi et al. case has adjourned for the day and the week. The trial will resume on Monday, 28 October 2024, at 09:00, with a testimony of a new SPO witness while the testimony of the last witness, Nuredin Ibishi, will continue at a later date yet to be announced.
