KSC Weekly Press Briefing on 30 November
Another KSC weekly press briefing will take place on Thursday, 30 November, at 14:30. During this briefing, the KSC Spokespersons will provide a short update on the latest developments in the judicial proceedings before the KSC, as well as on other public activities of the Court. Journalists will have the opportunity to ask questions. Pre-registration is required to attend each briefing. To pre-register, please send an email with name and affiliation to [email protected]. Deadline for pre-registration is every Thursday at 12:00. The Zoom details will be shared following pre-registration. Recordings of the update provided during the Weekly Press Briefings will be made available on the KSC YouTube Channel.

Shala trial adjourned till next year/oral order on closure of Defence case
Following the completion of the testimony of the 9th Defence witness, the trial against Shala has adjourned for today and for the week. At the end of today’s hearing, the Panel issued a number of oral orders, one of which was in relation to the closure of the Defence case. The Panel set 15 January 2024 as the target date for the closing of the Defence case. The hearings for the rest of this week are cancelled and the trial will resume on 9 January 2024 at 09:30, when the testimony of a new Defence witness is expected to commence.

Constitutional Court Panel assigned to deal with Haradinaj’s referral
Please be informed about the latest matter before the Constitutional Court, which can be seen in this filing. On 22 November 2023, President Trendafilova assigned a Constitutional Court Panel to rule on the referral, filed by the Defence of Nasim Haradinaj, on 21 November. Judges Vidar Stensland, Roumen Nenkov and Romina Incutti will decide on this referral, which was filed confidentially but its public redacted version shall be available within one week.
