Thaçi et al. case: 1 new victim admitted to the proceedings

Trial Panel II issued a seventh decision on victims' participation in the Thaçi et al. case. One applicant was admitted to the proceedings as a participating victim and will be included in the existing group of victims (Group 1 with 140 participating victims previously admitted) and shall be represented by the same Victims' Counsel. In its decision, the Panel noted that the deadline to file applications for admission of victims participating in this case expired  on 15 February 2023 but, finding there is a good cause to consider the additional information, it has decided to re-assess this resubmitted application from a previously denied applicant.

This brings the total number of participating victims in this case to 141. More details are available in the decision, the public redacted version of which was filed on 11 September.
