The SPO’s 44th witness resumed the testimony this morning.

SPO’s protected witness W04325 resumes the testimony this morning.

As mentioned in our previous post today, there will be an extraordinary ex-parte hearing tomorrow at 16:00. Because of this, the regular hearing in the Thaçi et al. trial tomorrow (31 January) will last from 09:00 until 15:15.

SPO called its next witness this afternoon. This is witness W04325, who will, according to the Prosecution, testify what he saw and learnt during multiple visits to a number of KLA headquarters during the relevant period, including the KLA Commanders he interacted with.

During today’s hearing, the Trial Panel in the Thaçi et al. case expressed its concerns about the recent filing regarding the representation of Hashim Thaçi and scheduled an ex-parte meeting (with the Defence team of Hashim Thaçi present only) on this matter for tomorrow at 16:00, or as soon as the regular hearing tomorrow is completed.

Please note that ex-parte hearings are not open for public.

As per decision of the Supreme Court Panel on 25 January, the KSC Registrar assigned a duty counsel to Salih Mustafa. Here is the assignment decision.

SPO’s protected witness W04870 continued the testimony, that commenced yesterday.

As can be seen in our Court Calendar, please be informed that the hearings in the P. Shala case, previously scheduled from 5 to 9 February, are cancelled. 

Following the completion of the testimony of witness W02082, the SPO called its next witness, W04870. According to the Prosecution, this person’s evidence is related to the murder of a victim, who was killed after being arrested and detained by the KLA members in the Llap/Lab zone. This is the 43rd SPO witness so far.
