Single Judge grants Gucati custodial visit to Kosovo
Due to compelling humanitarian grounds, a Single Judge instructed the Registry to manage a custodial visit to Kosovo for Mr. Gucati yesterday to meet immediate family. The Accused remained in detention and in the custody of the Specialist Chambers. EULEX and Kosovo Police supported the Kosovo Specialist Chambers.

Thaçi et al. case: 3 new victims admitted to the proceedings
Trial Panel II issued a sixth decision on victims' participation in the Thaçi et al. case. Three new applicants were admitted to the proceedings as participating victims. They will be included in the existing group of victims (Group 1 with 137 participating victims previously admitted) and shall be represented by the same Victims' Counsel. Seven applications were rejected in the latest decision. This brings the total number of participating victims in this case to 140. More details here.

Case of Shala: deadline for victim applications extended until the closing of the SPO’s case
In its latest decision on victims’ procedural rights during trial, made public on 6 March 2023, the Trial Panel in the Shala case decided, inter alia, to vary the deadline for the submission of victim applications for participation in the proceedings until the closing of the SPO’s case. The Panel considered such a decision appropriate, pursuant to Rule 9(5) of the Rules, due to circumstances of the case and the overall security situation in Kosovo. As it can be seen on the case page, the total number of participating victims in this case is currently 8.

Lesser redacted indictment filed in the Thaçi et al. case
On 27 February 2023, Specialist Prosecutor’s Office submitted a public lesser redacted version of the amended indictment in the case of Thaçi, Veseli, Krasniqi and Selimi.
