    KSC Weekly Press Briefing on 5 December

    Another KSC weekly press briefing will take place on Thursday, 5 December, at 14:30. During this briefing, the KSC Spokespersons will provide a short update on the latest developments in the judicial proceedings before the KSC, as well as on other public activities of the Court. Journalists will have the opportunity to ask questions. Pre-registration is required to attend each briefing. To pre-register, please send an email with name and affiliation to [email protected]. Deadline for pre-registration is every Thursday at 12:00. The Zoom details will be shared following pre-registration. Recordings of the update provided during the Weekly Press Briefings will be made available on the KSC YouTube Channel.

    Thaçi et al: panel’s decision on Victims’ Counsel evidence/reparation request

    During today's hearing, the Panel issued an oral order concerning the proposal from the Victims’ Counsel from 2 October this year, which pertains to the chronology for the Victims’ Counsel case and request for reparations. After confirming that all parties were in agreement, the panel ordered that the Victims’ case will be called following the conclusion of the SPO case and the Rule 130 proceedings, but prior to the commencement of the Defence case, if any. Regarding the potential requests for reparations from the Victims’ counsel, these should be filed after the case's judgment and once any verdict on the counts has been determined.

    Januzi et al: several hearings in December cancelled

    Please be informed that the next hearings in the Januzi et al. case are scheduled for 18 and 19 December 2024 while the other hearings in December are cancelled. New information will be provided as soon as it is available.
