Another KSC weekly press briefing will take place on Wednesday, 28 June at 14:30. During this briefing, the KSC Spokespersons will provide a short update on the latest developments in the judicial proceedings before the KSC, as well as on other public activities of the Court. Journalists will have the opportunity to ask questions. Pre-registration is required to attend each briefing. To pre-register, please send an email with name and affiliation to [email protected]. Deadline for pre-registration is every Thursday at 12:00. The Zoom details will be shared following pre-registration. Recordings of the update provided during the Weekly Press Briefings will be made available on the KSC YouTube Channel.

During today’s hearing, the Panel issued two oral orders in relation to the requests by the Defence made at the hearing yesterday. Firstly, the Panel rejected the Defence’s request to postpone the closing of the SPO case, currently scheduled for 6 July. Secondly, the Panel decided to postpone the Defence’s cross-examination of the current witness until Monday, 3 July.

Today’s hearing in the Shala adjourned as originally scheduled at 16:00. The trial will resume tomorrow (Tuesday, 27 June), at 09:30.

Due to technical issues, the trial against Shala is on break until 13:00 (or 13:45 in the delayed feed online). The new sitting schedule for today will be announced after 13:00.
