Thaҫi et al. case: changes in victim participation number
On 23 April 2025, the Trial Panel in the Thaҫi et al. case decided on a request from an individual seeking to withdraw their status as a victim participating in the proceedings, citing safety concerns. After observing that the request was properly signed and that nothing indicated it was not made voluntarily and with full awareness, the Panel granted the request, thereby terminating this individual's status as a participating victim in the case.
Earlier, on 14 April, the Victims’ Counsel informed the Panel of the passing of another victim in the case. Consequently, the current total of participating victims in this case stands at 152.
More information about the victims' participation in this case can be found on the case page and another page on our website specifically for participating victims in all cases.
